One of the things that I love the most about where we live is that I can drive in any direction for an hour or two and be transported into another land completely. For this session, the Pozzi family and I escaped right outside of the Grand Tetons to capture family portraits in the snow-covered mountains. I had the best time capturing the Pozzi’s for this winter session, and I cannot believe how amazing the boys were (let’s face it: little boys are curious and busy, and they were such great sports for this session!).
Jessica scheduled this session for a few reasons: she wanted to capture their new area, since they have recently relocated to the area, and since they love the outdoors, they thought a winter session in one of the best places, outside Grand Teton National Park, would be the perfect way to commemorate it. My favorite reason she wanted to schedule, though, is because she wanted to capture their family in this season. Since kids are always changing and growing, if you blink, sometimes you miss their changes! Jessica wanted a way to remember her boys exactly as they are, a perfect reason for a snow-covered family session outside of Grand Teton National park if you ask me.
Grand Teton Photography Outside Your Back Door
There is never a bad time to capture photos outside of Grand Teton National Park. With the Teton Mountain range serving as the perfect backdrop, images are unique and beautiful no matter the season. I love exploring during this time of year and had the best time finalizing a location for the Pozzi family. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful session around the Tetons, reach out! I have perfect locations ready for a memorable family session.
